Pfaudler signs agreement to acquire Julius Montz GmbH

Pfaudler announces that, on 08 July 2015, an agreement has been signed to acquire Julius Montz GmbH (Montz).

Julius Montz GmbH (Montz) is a world leader in column packing, process systems and distillation technology.

The company holds many patents and its in-depth knowledge of distillation, packing process design and overall system integration allows it to optimize column design processes within all chemical plants.

Montz strengthens the “Technologies” and the “Solutions” portfolios for Pfaudler. Its capabilities integrate well with Pfaudler’s existing process systems design offerings.  The combination of the technical knowledge of both Montz and Pfaudler will provide for further growth. 

Montz has two main locations in Germany, in Hilden and in Landau, with a solid market position in Germany and on a global basis.
