Pfaudler Group announces new Joint Venture in South Korea

Luxembourg, 16 March 2017 – The Executive Board of Pfaudler is providing an update on the Joint Venture Company formed on 12th May 2016, between the GLK Co., Ltd. and Pfaudler’s South Korean Liaison office, which is now known as GLK Pfaudler Co., Ltd.

It is anticipated the chemical and process related industries within Korea will grow substantially over the next several years, and our expectation is to capture a significant share of the glass-lined equipment and services this opportunity presents.  

GLK Pfaudler was created with this growth opportunity in mind, and can now draw upon the skills and resources available through this partnership; allowing us to offer a full-complement of glass-lined equipment and services, which carries the distinction of the Pfaudler name brand.  

GLK Pfaudler Co., Ltd is located in in Ulsan, South Korea and is led by Mr. Oh Daewon, who serves as the President and CEO of GLK Pfaudler.  As the CEO, Mr. Daewon leads and directs all manufacturing and sales activities.

Currently, the plans are underway to assimilate the Liaison office within GLK Pfaudler’s operating structure, and complete the closure of the office by March 31, 2017.  Upon the closure, Mr. Choi Doyoung, who has managed the Liaison office, will step into the role of Sales Manager for GLK Pfaudler.
