The durable non-proprietary right angle reducer utilizes helical / spiral bevel gearing and was designed specifically for abusive applications. Our popular ‘GTB’ design utilizes process matched wet ends for optimum agitation solutions. The ruggedness of the unit has proven itself in abusive applications, consequently minimizing downtime.

  • The agitator drive is comprised of a robust non-proprietary right angle reducer which utilizes helical / spiral bevel gear sets. The minimum mechanical service factor of the gear strength as calculated on continuous operation is 1.5 (based on current AGMA and ISO standards). The thermal rating of the reducer meets or exceeds the installed motor name plate power.
  • The output shaft features a “no-leak” drywell design that physically separates the oil sump from the output shaft to eliminate gear oil contamination of the tank product.
  • Larger bearing span design allows for stronger shaft support for a more robust agitator installation.
  • Profile controlled gas carburizing and optimal gear geometry allow for lower noise and vibration as well as maximizing load capacity.
  • Unique internal design ensures oil supply to all bearings upon first oil fill.
  • Maintenance free Oil-LockTM high speed shaft seal ensures “oil-tight-for-life” design.
  • Maintenance friendly reducer design aids in quick inspection and troubleshooting.
  • The large diameter, high capacity output shafts are designed to accommodate the high bending moment loads associated with mixer applications.
  • The agitator drive head is available in a variety of configurations, matched to the application (ie. flange mount, plate mount, with tank seal, without tank seal, etc.).
  • Optional tank seal is intricate to the reducer housing, eliminating shaft misalignment.
  • OSHA guarding is standard for increased safety.
