Valves

Various fittings can be used for glass pipelines and apparatus and, on the product side, they are designed with sealing and installation materials in borosilicate glass 3.3 and PTFE or similar highly corrosion-resistant materials.

Examples of these are the glass straight-through valve and reactor bottom outlet valves, shown in the images below.

Furthermore, there is a range of options, such as flexible operating extensions for fittings in difficult-to-reach places.

The glass valves made of borosilicate glass 3.3, as well as the connection flange couplings, are permitted according to the Technical Guidelines on Air Quality Control (TA-Luft).
