Effluent treatment and water recovery

Effluent treatment and water recovery since 1979 Hydro Air Research Italia has gained extensive expertise in process and waste water applications, becoming a leader in membrane separation technology, widening its portfolio to other advanced separation techniques in different fields of application.

R.O.B.I. Servizi Ecologici, an important platform for recovery of exhausted oils in Italy, since almost 10 years is successfully using membrane systems supplied by Hydro Air Research Italia. A high concentration of emulsified oils makes the feed stream a challenging effluent to be treated; Hydro Air Research Italia’s process experts designed and built a chain of Ultrafiltration and Reverse Osmosis systems, able to reach the suitable water quality for discharge to the municipal consortium.

This is a great example of circular economy where with low energy demand the target of discharge according to law restrictions is reached.
